11/8/2025 – At the 24th Midterm Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO Midterm 2025), the Brunei representative sent a meaningful message through the song “As Long As You Love Me” by Backstreet Boys.
A famous line:
“I don’t care who you are, where you come from, or what you’ve done, as long as you love me”… This is a reminder of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance, togetherness, solidarity to create a collective, a strong alliance between countries, Engineers and together overcome the difficulties and challenges in the new period.
*** The Brunei representative affirmed: “As long as we respect and cherish each other, all differences will no longer be barriers”. This has shown the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect of the ASEAN engineering community, conveying a humane message, not only to Vietnam but also to all countries in the region:
