When an incident occurs, time is critical
Oil spills, chemical spills, fires at production or chemical storage facilities, and releases of pollutants into rivers, lakes or the sea can develop rapidly and directly affect people, property, the environment and business operations.
Oil and petroleum products released into water can spread with currents, wind and hydrological conditions. They can form a film on the water surface, affecting oxygen exchange, light and aquatic ecosystems. If an incident is not controlled early, the affected area and remediation costs may continue to increase.
